Cellarful is an iPhone app for keeping track of your wine collection. It knows which bottles you have, when each one is ready to drink and what you're likely to enjoy next, and it lets you share tastings with friends.

Yes. Your cellar, label scanning up to 5 times a month, tastings and friends are free with no time limit. Premium adds the sommelier, drinking windows for new wines, unlimited scans and more, and costs €6.99 a month or €59.99 a year. See Pricing.

Cellarful works on iPhone with iOS 18 or later. It is built for iPhone only, so there is no iPad or Mac version.

Not yet. Cellarful is built natively for iPhone.

The app is in English, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Spanish and Swedish. It follows your iPhone's language, and you can change it under Settings → Cellarful → Language.

Scan the label, pick a photo from your camera roll or type the wine in by hand. You can also import a whole collection from a spreadsheet. Adding wines by hand is always free, with or without a photo.

You take a photo of the label, and Cellarful fills in producer, vintage, grape and region for you. Your iPhone reads the text first, and AI then identifies the wine. Free includes 5 scans a month, and Premium has no limit.

The scanner shows how many of this month's 5 free scans you have left. The count starts again each month, and Premium has no limit.

Yes. Export your list from Vivino, CellarTracker or Wine-Searcher, and import it in Cellarful under More → Data & backup → Import. You can also use any spreadsheet with our template. With Premium, Cellarful fills in missing details such as grape, country and region.

A drinking window is the period when a wine is at its best. Cellarful shows each bottle as too young, ready now, at its peak or one to drink soon. With Premium, the sommelier calculates the window for new wines, and on Free you can set the window yourself.

Yes, and it's free. You map the shelves and slots in your fridge or cellar, so you can see where each bottle sits before you open the door.

The sommelier answers questions about food, order or occasion using the wines you actually own. It's part of Premium, and its answers are guidance rather than guarantees.

No. Our AI provider's commercial terms don't allow it to train its models on what we send. We only send what a feature needs, such as the label photo or your question, and never your email or password. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

You decide. With a hidden profile, nobody can find you through search, and only followers you approve can see your collection. The value of your cellar is never shown to anyone else.

Everyone brings a bottle, and each round you guess the type, country, region, grape and vintage. Cellarful scores the guesses and keeps the leaderboard. Blind tastings are free.

Premium continues as a paid subscription at the price you chose, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You get one trial per person, and everything in Free stays free whatever you choose.

Open Settings on your iPhone and go to [your name] → Subscriptions → Cellarful. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription, because Apple handles it.

They stay. Your wines, notes and ratings remain in your cellar, and only the Premium features lock until you subscribe again.

Open the Premium page in the app and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple account you bought Premium with.

Yes, at any time and also on Free. Go to More → Data & backup and export your cellar as a CSV file with each wine's details, purchase information, rating, drinking window and comments.

Your cellar is stored with Supabase in London, which the EU recognises as having adequate data protection. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

Go to More → Delete account in the app. This deletes your cellar, photos and notes for good. Cancel Premium separately in your Apple account.
